• Sending digital gifts or in-game currency. Predators may start sending gifts or in-game money (Robux) to build rapport and make the child feel that the relationship is special. Many children have also experienced being offered digital gifts or in-game money (Robux) in exchange for dares or photos.
• Moving conversations outside Roblox. Since Roblox has filters and moderation tools installed, predators will often ask children to move to Snapchat, Discord, or other social media apps to escape strict moderation. Abusers prefer these platforms because there is no filter or moderation in private messages. They can also freely ask for photos and videos from the victims without any monitoring.

Roblox has already implemented safety features like banning the sharing of links and mentions of Discord and Snapchat. However, according to reports, predators simply use the emojis ghost (for Snapchat) and disc (for Discord) to bypass this restriction, or use other fonts that the filter cannot recognize.
