Do I have any options if I used Tepezza but did not suffer from hearing loss or tinnitus?

Presently only hearing loss disorders directly derived from Tepezza infusion treatment make you eligible for a Tepezza lawsuit.

Teprotumumab (Tepezza) is a relatively newly introduced infusion treatment for thyroid eye disease (TED), a progressive disorder associated with a hyperactive thyroid gland.

Approved by the FDA as recently as January 2020, Tepezza infusion treatment and its adverse effects on human health need further investigation. A first small study presented in 2021 by the Endocrine Society has revealed that despite the initial warning of the drug’s manufacturer about a 10% risk of developing hearing loss impairments as an adverse effect, this rate is actually significantly higher, reaching as high a figure as 65%.

Adverse hearing loss signs and symptoms developed after Tepezza infusion treatment that make you eligible for a Tepezza claim include:

Horizon Therapeutics, the manufacturer of the Tepezza infusion treatment, claims that hearing loss impairments that occur during and as a result of the treatment are reversible. However, the study by the Endocrine Society has shown that while some of these hearing loss disorders improve over time after Tepezza treatment is stopped, others remain permanent disorders.

Further studies may reveal other long-term adverse effects that the drug manufacturer failed to warn about.
